Great location, friendly staff and good value for money.

If I was being picky - it would be nice to have two pillows on the bed but a spare one is given in the room.

The location was excellent. Breakfast was fine if your demands were modest, but I need gluten-free food and I was disappointed not finding even one cereal I could eat. The staff produced gluten-free toast on request, which was good. In the room an extra chair would have been helpful.

Hotel is close to venue we were going to. It was just a walk away. Reception staff were welcoming and helpful.

I got a good deal because I booked early. I couldn't afford to stay if I hadn't done this. You're really paying for the location but it needs to be affordable as its an additional cost to a night out!

Shower was outstanding. Room very quiet. Excellent croissants at breakfast.

All tables were smooth with curved end so we repeatedly knocked things onto the floor. Please -put in some rubber mats - it’s annoying in a small room to have everything slipping and rolling onto the floor. Bathroom - the bathroom door was quite grubby - bit more attention to cleaning

Just a bit difficult to find by road at first

As I'm disabled our room was perfect, two televisions, brilliant, bed very comfy, and we like how quiet and peaceful the room was, we would come again, great for the price.

Two moans, shelves at the sides of bed should have been closer, you could quite easily fall out of bed. The other was the bathroom it was smelly like stagnated water. We didn't moan as we were only there for two nights.

Ideal location right in the centre of Bristol with large car park opposite. Lots of restaurants and attractions within walking distance. Very modern hotel with spacious, well equiped rooms and large, comfortable bed. Knowledgeable staff.

Should be signposted.

Clean hotel excellent value formoney, great location.

Shame hotel didn’t have free parking, but we were grateful for the discount on parking charge (hotel stamp your parking ticket) but make sure it’s the cheaper of the parking sites - hotel will advise you if you go to reception prior to parking.

The breakfast I thought was a bit over priced, the breakfast was mainly I thought more for the eastern European people . There could of been more of a selection of the typical English breakfast , I found the scrambled egg was very runny and the bacon was not cooked properly , so for the money I only had fruit and toast which I thought was not value for money .

I'd asked for a room in a quiet location (I.e. away from the lifts or staircase) and I was pleased my room was located far down the corridor from these. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Patricia at check-in. The location is great, and there was a good breakfast selection. The bar and seating area on the ground floor is modern and stylish.

The bed was an odd set up - it was a very hard base mattress with a thin softer top layer. I like a firm mattress, but the base mattress was far too hard for a comfortable night's sleep.

Location is perfect. Staff is very ready to give information. Bar is OK. Coffee/tea provided.

I requested a quiet room on one of the upper floors. For the 4 days of my stay, I got a room on the second floor. Quite noisy because outside, in front of my window, the AC installation of the building is running continuously. Open window during the night not an option. The breakfast was OK, though the coffeemachine did not always function and bread was scarce. The cleanness of the room was reasonably, but the first day I had to clean the desk chair from a thick layer of dust. The bath room did not provide very much, no shower cap, no shampoo or other amendments. Outside temperature was in the high twenties, but for example a free bottle of water was not provided. Interesting rating scheme: 92/138/138/92 pounds per night, for Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday night. Anyway, on the high side for the service offered.

Loved the central location of this hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Reasonably priced car park located just across the way to the hotel and very easy to locate. Will definitely stay at this hotel

Stayed for daughter's graduation. Perfect location - close to cathedral, harbour and numerous eating places. Added bonus of aircon on hottest day of year! Accommodation is simple but completely adequate.

Parking was off site in pay-for multistorey car park.
